The six-day journey to participate in the Thailand Invention Exhibition was a very special experience for me. It not only gave me the opportunity to take part in an international exhibition but also allowed me to experience Thai culture and cuisine. "Opportunities don't happen. You create them."On the first day, I took a flight to Thailand at noon. After arriving, I checked into the hotel, preparing for the upcoming events. The second day marked the opening ceremony and the main conference of the exhibition. This was the official start of the event, with participants from various countries gathering in a grand and exciting atmosphere. That evening, we went to a seafood restaurant for dinner. It was my first proper meal in Thailand, which made me even more excited about the days ahead. The third day was crucial as our project was evaluated by the judges. All three judges arrived that day for the assessment. It was a nerve-wracking yet exciting moment, as it represented the recognition of our efforts by professionals. "Success is where preparation and opportunity meet."In the afternoon, we relaxed and enjoyed a hot pot meal, bringing a perfect end to the day.
On the fourth morning, we continued at the exhibition venue. Unexpectedly,
we were informed that we had to participate in a presentation competition. This
was a great opportunity to showcase our speaking abilities. Although I was
nervous, the challenge boosted my confidence. "Do not be afraid to step
out of your comfort zone—it is where growth happens."
After that, we visited the CentralWorld shopping mall and had the famous
Thai curry crab for dinner, which left a deep impression on me.
On the fifth day, we continued at the exhibition in the morning, followed
by an enriching cultural tour in the afternoon. We visited Wat Arun (Temple of
Dawn), took a long-tail boat ride, and explored the lively floating
market. Finally, the day ended with a visit to the night market and a delicious
Thai-style chicken leg dinner.
The highlight of the sixth day was the award ceremony, the most
anticipated moment of the trip. Regardless of the results, I felt that
participating in this exhibition was a valuable learning experience. It gave me
insights into innovative inventions from different countries and motivated me
to keep striving in the future. "The only limit to our realization of
tomorrow is our doubts of today."Our project, "Soldering Iron Smoking
Hood," is a compact and affordable fume extractor designed to remove toxic
soldering fumes efficiently. Unlike traditional equipment, it is lightweight,
portable, and battery-powered for easy use. The hood collects fumes, while two
fans extract harmful gases. Additional features include a built-in magnifier
and a soldering gun holder for convenience. In the future, we plan to enhance
it with an air purifier, LED lighting, and energy-saving functions. "Innovation
distinguishes between a leader and a follower."In the afternoon, I took a
flight back to Taiwan, concluding this fulfilling and unforgettable journey.
This trip to the Thailand Invention Exhibition was not only rewarding but
also allowed me to experience different cultures, cuisines, and attractions. I
learned how to adapt to unexpected situations and gained a better understanding
of international invention exhibitions. This experience will be an important
part of my life, inspiring me to continue innovating and progressing in the
future. "The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their
dreams."
